a bit about me:
A passionate story teller, award winning journalist and lover of all things media, I'm loving my days spent around London heading up the marketing and PR at one of the city's fastest growing media companies.
We create cool content for some of the world's biggest brands and have a lot of fun doing it, all the while, using the power of our media brands to make a positive social impact wherever we can.
When I'm not running around London looking for the next PR opportunity or carrying some obscure object on the Tube for our next event, I'm working with SMEs and corporate clients creating videos for their digital platforms, managing their social media, writing copy for their websites and helping them tell their story through words, images and video.
I have extensive experience as a video journalist, PR and campaigns manager and as a marketing and communications manager.
My skills include social marketing, influencer marketing, content creation and curation, pitching media, writing content, media familiarisation coordination and hosting, media relations, partnership management, event management, videography and video journalism.
In 2015 whilst working for Northern Australia's peak advocacy body, Townsville Enterprise, I coordinated the media and PR component of the 2014-2106 Stadium and Entertainment Centre advocacy campaign resulting in $250M secured for a Stadium and Entertainment Centre to be constructed in Townsville North Queensland with construction now underway.
In 2015 I created and implement the “Hands Up for Harry Campaign” resulting in international exposure of Townsville and Australia worth over $1M over a four day period.
Passionate about developing and maintaining relationships and fostering growth, I am also the founder and former Chair of the North Queensland Media Ball, now in it's 7th consecutive year.
